4. Jake's Grill Remodel at The Governor Hotel, Portland, OR

Description: Jake's Grill is a popular, downtown Portland (Oregon) restaurant. Between their restaurant and catering operations, they had grown out of their existing space. In conjunction with the remodel of the Governor Hotel, they wanted to expand their restaurant and catering operations. In order to accomplish this we relocated the front desk for the Hotel, opened and finished a room previously used as an antique shop and office space, created food service support areas at the basement and third floors of the hotel, and installed a service elevator that reaches five levels of the hotel, including the basement. All while keeping their bustling restaurant and catering business operational.
