This boutique hotel in downtown Portland, located along the Tri-Met light rail route, consisted of a complete renovation with upscale finishes to 174 rooms. The first floor renovation included a new lobby, meeting and board rooms, and restaurant, Nel Centro. This project was completed over a six-month duration with work performed during winter and early spring. The scope included structural shoring to complete the addition of a concrete ramp next to an existing and operational building into the basement for valet parking. All exterior finishes including stucco and paint were done within a heated envelope due to winter conditions. The existing parking lot was renovated into a courtyard for restaurant seating and included a new porte cochère canopy, pedestal pavers, fire troughs and new landscaping.
