The River's Edge Hotel located on Portland’s South Waterfront recently received a renovation that included work on 16 new rooms and 96 renovated rooms—112 total in the new hotel. Part of the Hilton Tapestry Collection, the project included demolition of an existing amenity area, lobby, fitness room, corridors, and guestrooms. Additions included a new fitness center, bar, and marketplace constructed alongside the remodel. The project also included a new 3rd floor roof and exterior work including complete re-painting and upgrades to rooftop HVAC equipment. The renovation was completed in phases so that the hotel could remain operational throughout construction.
