Deacon is currently underway on the construction of two new shell and core retail buildings at The Village at Tacoma Mall, encompassing 26,000 sf. These single-story, steel-framed structures will enhance Tacoma Mall’s position as one of Pierce County’s premier shopping and dining destinations. The project will introduce a range of popular dining options—including Shake Shack, Dave’s Hot Chicken, Supreme Dumplings, Happy Lamb Hot Pot, Simply Thai, Gong Cha, and more—alongside new landscaping, hardscapes, and upgraded utility infrastructure. On site, Building B is progressing with EIFS, HVAC, storefront installation, and trash enclosure work, while Building A has completed structural and exterior framing and begun roof installation. Hardscape installation is underway throughout the site.
