Herndon, Virginia (Sept. 8, 2025) – NAIOP, the Commercial Real Estate Development Association, has appointed Roland Neary, Business Development Manager, Deacon Construction, LLC, in Citrus Heights, California, to the Trends in Real Estate Development 4 National Forum. This Forum is comprised of real estate professionals interested in focusing on industry trends such as technology, sustainability, workplace, leasing, and developing commercial real estate.
Neary formed and ran a successful commercial concrete and framing company based in Newcastle, California, for 24 years, growing it to 120 employees. Seeking new challenges, he closed the company in 2015. Shortly thereafter, he joined Deacon Construction, LLC, initially serving as a Project Manager before quickly transitioning into business development. In his current role, he is the market lead for all industrial efforts for states on the West Coast.
NAIOP’s select National Forums program brings together leading industry professionals for exclusive networking and candid, closed-door meetings to exchange experience and ideas around topics of interest. Applicants are evaluated by a selection committee for appointment to the Forums and must be NAIOP members in good standing, among other criteria.
